Fingering through Christmas baubles and ribbons bring forth memories of their journeys and how they transformed the simplest of corners into wonderment. From time to time their uses vary as new locations become apparent. There is always a sense of friendship and familiarity as one views them from their old encasements during their annual appearances. Likewise, striped candy evokes memories of childhood sweetness and dreamy suckling as their canes become miniature in size. Christmas trimmings become apart of our emotional sinew. They evoke memories of Christmases past and visions of Christmases to come.
