Going With The Flow
I was especially attracted to the curved lines and height of these wild flowers. The lighting added to their beauty creating an uplifting, cheerful note. It is a windy evening. The wind seems to heave heavy sighs as it swirls and drifts across the foliage. At times the foliage seems as though it has elastic sinew as it sways and bends in the wind.
It is amazing how adaptive the grasses and wild flowers are in the breeze. They go with the flow; steady during calm periods and swooping during heavy gusts. A lesson that is sometimes hard to follow in life. During life’s gusty moments it is difficult not to oppose the experience. It is at these times that we must remind ourselves to listen to our intuitive voice for direction.

If we do not bend – we will break . To know the way of nature is to possess insight , into all things . I believe you know the way of nature very well Debbie . I love this piece , it reminds me of my childhood when I used to run barefoot through lily & poppy fields and all type of wildflowers that used to grow in this region . Now , despite the fact that we are still 300 inhabitants , modern architecture and real estate have taken over the land which once used to be . There are no more fields . I love this painting . Thank you .
