That is such a wonderful idea! I did that a few years ago and ended up painting a huge canvas of chinese lilies and a small pastel of this red lily like flower. The name of it begins with "A" but I cannot remember... My favourite flower is the rose, wild or cultivated. One can still find wild roses up here from time to time.... Debbie!
