Birches Awaken
It is a cooler spring evening. The light is fleeting tonight darting in and out of an eminent cloud cover. At times the light slides down the sides of young birches and adds a glow to the tops of new brush behind them. The spring light possesses a gaiety, while adding brilliance to the fresh new foliage.
The birches seem to cheerfully announce their stately presence relishing in the arrival of new growth. Hopefully, they will see many more spring arrivals as they mature into adulthood.
