A Day’s Work

It has been a gorgeous summer day. Finally summer has returned after a bout of wet windy weather. As nightfall approaches the MacGregor Farm stands stately in the evening glow. A haze hovers behind the farm, shrouding the distant land.
Hard work and dedication have been a mainstay of the farm. Working into the wee hours of the night or rising before dawn to complete work before tomorrow. The land matures at its own pace and waits for no one. Thus, long hours must be endured in order to keep time with nature’s pace. There is a respect that exists between farmer and the land: a reverence for nature’s pulse and her changing moods. One can only hope that generations to come will continue to respect and step in rhythm with nature’s beat.

I so love this painting – it resembles the place I happen to presently live in . I was born here , on this island , and as I look out my window every day , I see the valley below . I had always wanted to return to this valley , the serenity it fills my soul with , and now I am finally here , looking beyond down upon my green valley . This is magnificently depictive of how I feel deep within my soul .

Thank you for posting all of this great work of yours .:)
